This series of flipbooks extends my interest in systems that activate perception through repetition. Each sequence consists of two loopy, signature-like lines which are projected perspectivally into three dimensional space. The books are designed as perfect loops: the lines are rotated slightly between successive frames in such a way that the final page returns exactly to the first. The illusion of motion is completed by the viewer’s hands, not by a screen, giving agency over pace and rhythm to the flipper. As in my browser-based work, small computational shifts produce larger perceptual effects, balancing strict geometric structure with gesture and chance.
